Onsite Drug Screening for Construction in MA, NH & RI

by Meg Whynot-Young

United Alliance Services is excited to provide onsite drug testing for our construction clients, along with a number of other onsite health and wellness services.
Many of our clients who are working on projects with OCIP and CCIP insurance programs are required to have onsite drug testing and a medical professional who can treat minor injuries and illnesses right on site and make referrals to outside care if deemed necessary. Often, injuries can be treated quickly and effectively without requiring follow up care.
We are also able to provide emergency response, lead level testing, respirator fit tests, and occupational health education.
Our occupational health professionals are registered nurses (RNs) and emergency medical technicians (EMTs). We can provide an on-site medical trailer, or deliver services from space provided by our client.

Valerie Wakefield Bianco, owner, and president of United Alliance Services oversees our health and wellness division. Valerie has spent 25 years in the medical field.

“I am glad to be able to bring this valuable service to our clients. Frequent on-site drug testing is a demand that our clients have been asking for, particularly our construction clients. United Alliance Services can provide on-site drug and alcohol testing, respiratory fit testing, and onsite health and wellness programs all from an on-site limited medical service trailer.” Valerie said.

She has developed onsite medical programs specifically for the construction industry. Our medical professionals are trained on OSHA recordable events, handling reasonable suspicion cases, and many other important aspects of the job that are unique to a construction operation.

Our goal is to provide comprehensive occupational health services to our clients onsite, reducing time away from work, and workers’ compensation claims. We emphasize preventive medicine and training workers to avoid hazards, and adopt healthy behaviors.

Why United Alliance Services?

Our staff has the experience to manage the occupational health operations on a construction site, providing excellent care, preventive wellness talks and programs, and lowering the instances of recordable events and workers’ compensation claims.
United Alliance Services can provide all-in-one safety services for our clients. When you think about safety on a job site, you should have one number to call- not three.  We will work with you to ensure the health and safety of your workers and subcontractors at every stage of the project.

We have a full training catalog which includes OSHA 10 and 30-hour Construction Outreach, bloodborne pathogens, reasonable suspicion training for supervisors, respiratory awareness, hazardous communications, fall protection, confined space entry, and many other safety classes.

Additionally, we can also offer full or part-time onsite safety professional staff to oversee the project’s safety compliance programs, provide toolbox safety talks, training, audits, and JSAs.
We can customize our services to meet your needs and have the ability to package our services so that you are getting the most out your safety budget.
